PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflecting plate-equipped planar antenna which has a shape of a small depth. SOLUTION: A planar reflecting plate 51 is installed on the back surface of a dipole radiation element 50, that is a planar radiation element. The interval between the dipole radiation element 50 and the reflecting plate 51 can be narrowed down to 0.06λc. Side sections 51b on the opposite sides of the reflecting plate 51 are bent toward the radiation element 50 side, and the interval between the front end edge of each side section 51b and the side edge of the radiation element 50 is narrowed down to 0.06λc. This makes it possible to improve the electrical characteristics of a reflecting plate-equipped planar antenna 5, even if the interval between the radiation element 50 and the reflecting plate 51 is narrowed.
