摘要 <p>Provided are a tripod constant velocity joint (16), and a method and a device (60) for assembling the joint. The opening of a through-hole (28) formed in an inner member (20) of the tripod constant velocity joint (16) has formed therein a tapered, reduced diameter section (36) having a diameter tapered from the opening toward the inside. A first annular groove (50) is formed in the side wall of a driving power transmission shaft (12), and a clip (54) serving as an engaging member is engaged with the first annular groove (50). A second annular groove (52) is formed in the inner wall of the through-hole (28) in the inner member (20). In inserting the driving power transmission shaft (12) through the through-hole (28) in the inner member (20), the tapered, reduced diameter section (36) guides the shaft in such a manner that the clip (54) is contracted toward the bottom surface of the first annular groove (50). The clip (54) expands and contracts due to the elasticity thereof when the positions of the first annular groove (50) and the second annular groove (52) coincide with each other.</p>
