<p>A DC power supply system and output control method, wherein; the amount of electric power that can be supplied to a DC communication-device load (3) from a rechargeable battery (4), per unit time, during an output suppressing time zone (TS), is stored in a memory (2B) as a threshold value (W1); and the present power consumption (W2) of the DC communication-device load (3) is measured. A function is provided to an output control unit (2D), wherein; the present power consumption (W2) of the DC communication-device load (3) and the threshold value (W1) in the memory (2B) is compared; and when it is W2 = W1, supplying of power from a rectifying unit (2-1) to the DC communication-device load (3) is stopped, and power consumption (W2) thereof is covered only with electric power accumulated in the rechargeable battery (4); and when it is W2 > W1, power consumption up to the threshold value (W1) is covered with electric power accumulated in the rechargeable battery (4), and power consumption exceeding the threshold value (W1) is covered with electric power from the rectifying unit (2-1).</p> |
