The invention relates to a method in which: a) locating means (20) are defined for locating the position of a first reference system associated with the head of the wearer in a second reference system associated with an imaging device (90) and the inclination of this first reference system in the sagittal plane of the head of the wearer, around a centre of rotation thereof, b) a series of at least two images of the head of said wearer is recorded, c) a position, in the second reference system, of said centre of rotation is determined, d) the image of a first anatomical point of the face of the wearer is identified on each image, e) the angle of inclination of an anatomical plane passing through said centre of rotation and through said first anatomical point, perpendicular to the sagittal plane, is determined on each image with respect to a reference plane, f) this angle is compared with a predetermined value, g) the geometric postural parameter is determined as a function of this comparison.
