<p>An apparatus and method for the therapeutic treatment of back and neck ailments that secures a first portion of the patient's body to a fixed portion of the device and a second portion of the patient's body to a moveable portion of the device, and applies a pulling force to the moveable portion of the patient's body to cause decompression of specific parts of the patient's spine. The device comprises a bed (200) on which the patient is placed, and the bed (200) can be adjusted, slid back and forth, tilted and rotated to provide easy placement of the patient on the bed (200).</p> |
