<p>A target holder apparatus (1) for positioning a target (6) at a location remote from a shooter comprising a target support housing (2-4) positioning a target in a substantially vertical planar firing position normal to a path of a projectile fired by a shooter, a target firing window (9), a carrier means (10-13) supporting a roll of target-containing paper (5), target drive means rotating the roll of target-containing paper (5), tensioning means (14-19) maintaining the tension on the roll of target-containing paper (5) and a sensor detection means.
