<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer replenishing vessel, development apparatus, and image forming apparatus having high stability, durability, and silence property. <P>SOLUTION: The developer replenishment device includes a sealing member 2 for opening and closing an opening 1a for discharging toner, a driving section 20 that engages with a toner bottle 1 or the sealing member 2 and rotates the toner bottle 1, a releasing member 21 for releasing the engagement with the driving section 20, a hopper 24 serving as a developer receiving device for receiving a discharged developer, and a driving source for transmitting driving force to the driving section 20. The developer replenishment device includes a bottle holding member 13 capable of selectively moving a position for holding the toner bottle 1 in the rotation axis direction with respect to a mounting tray and a position for release, and a holding control mechanism for operating the bottle holding member 13. When the driving force is transmitted from the driving source to the driving section 20, the holding control mechanism operates the bottle holding member 13 so that it is out of the position for holding the toner bottle 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
