<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably ensure a high joining strength by surely joined end parts of rubber members each other when a joining rubber member is manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber member 70 is arranged on a supporting body 2 to oppose the end parts 71 and 72 to be joined and support them. An auxiliary liquid for softening or the like the rubber and assisting joining is fed to the end parts 71 and 72 from an auxiliary liquid feeding apparatus 60. A pair of joining rollers provided on a joining unit 30 are rotated on respective end parts 71 and 72 of the rubber member 70 on which the auxiliary liquid is fed, to butt and join both end parts 71 and 72 while they are pulled each other. While the joined end parts 71 and 72 are heated by applying ultrasonic wave to fuse the end parts 71 and 72, the auxiliary liquid is evaporated to dry the end parts 71 and 72 by a fusing and drying apparatus 80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
