<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display element having such a structure that facilitates repair of a defect caused in a process for mounting a transparent protective plate on a display surface. <P>SOLUTION: The display element is constituted by sticking a polarizing plate 7 onto an outer surface of a substrate 5 on the opposite side to the display surface by using adhesive 11 on a liquid crystal panel 12 constituted by filling a space of a seal 4 formed like a frame in a peripheral edge part between a pair of transparent opposingly arranged substrates 3 and 5 with liquid crystal 6, applying adhesive 10 to cover the whole outer surface of the substrate 3 on a display surface side of the liquid crystal panel 12, arranging the surface of the transparent protective substrate 8 on which adhesive 9 is applied on the side where the polarizing plate 2 is stuck and the surface of the substrate 3 on which adhesive 10 is applied to oppose to each other, and sticking the polarizing plate to the predetermined position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
