<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information output device, a remote control method and a program, facilitating control by an intuitive gesture of a user. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 32 detects a face from an image captured by an imaging part 44, detects eyes, ears, and mouth from the detected face, detects the gesture in the vicinity of the eyes, ears, and mouth, specifies processing related to a characteristic object (eyes, ears, or mouth) that is a target of the gesture, and an instruction associated with the detected gesture, and controls the processing related to the characteristic object (eyes, ears, or mouth) detected based on the instruction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
