摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a catalyst for selective oxidation reaction of carbon monoxide which has a high selective carbon monoxide oxidation activity and methanation activity with respect to carbon monoxide contained in hydrogen and can stably reduce the concentration of the carbon monoxide to an extremely low level. <P>SOLUTION: The method of producing the catalyst for selective oxidation reaction of carbon monoxide in which the catalyst is formed by carrying 0.01-10 mass% of ruthenium and 0.01-1 mass% of platinum on porous inorganic oxide carrier particles with respect to the mass of the carrier particles comprises (1) a process of carrying 30-70% of the total amount of the ruthenium to be carried on the carrier particles by a competitive adsorption method, and (2) a process of carrying the rest of the total amount of the ruthenium to be carried and the total amount of the platinum to be carried on the ruthenium-carrying carrier particles obtained in the process (1) without using a competitive adsorbent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
