PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system, a facility retrieval method and a facility retrieval program, capable of enhancing retrieval performance for a facility. SOLUTION: This navigation system 1 includes a geographical information storage part 17 for storing a facility data including names of the facilities and features of appearances thereof, and a navigation unit 6 for acquiring the feature of the appearance as a condition as to the guide objective facility, for acquiring the name of the facility as a condition as to the facility with an adjacent relation to the guide objective facility, and for retrieving the facility with the adjacent relation to the facility corresponding to the acquired feature of the appearance, and corresponding to the acquired name, as the guide objective facility, using the geographical information storage part 17.
