PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate band extension signals automatically regulated in response to hearing circumferential conditions or the like. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a band extension device extending a frequency band of input voice signals according to parameters. The band extension device includes: a feature determination means for collecting circumferential sounds outputting to pronounce voice signals extended in a band, determining features of the circumferential sounds and estimating a feature quantity of the features; an adjustment quantity estimation means for comparing the feature quantity of the features with the parameters and estimating an adjustment quantity of the parameters; an actual feature determination means for determining the features for input voice signals and estimating an actual feature quantity of the features; and an adjustment quantity decision means for comparing the feature quantity with the actual feature quantity, determining the actual adjustment quantity and renewing the parameters.
