PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine with a liquid cooling mechanism that is structured so that a coolant may permeate to more sections of a coil. SOLUTION: A motor 1 includes a rotor 2 and a stator 3. The stator 3 is equipped with stator cores 33, bobbins (34A and 34B) provided in each of the stator cores 33, coils 35 wound on each of the bobbins, and a weir member 40 made of elastic material. The bobbin has a supply hole 50 which radially pierces the motor 1 and leads to the coil 35. The stator 3 is so structured as to supply a coolant to this supply hole 50. The supply hole 50 is positioned on the opposite side of the stator core 33 from the lead wire 35a of the coil 35. Moreover, the bobbin is so structured as to let the coolant flow in the axial direction of the rotary electric machine 1 toward the side of the lead wire 35a of the coil 35 from the side of the supply hole 50, along the coil 35.
