PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input assistance device wherein an input assistance image can be viewed under an appropriate display condition during an input operation. SOLUTION: The input assistance device for assisting an input operation with respect to an input device wherein an input code corresponding to a spatial movement of a finger is determined includes: a detection means which is attached to an attachment portion on a finger or a hand of a user, for detecting the movement of the finger, and generating a detection signal; an input code determination means for determining an input code corresponding to a detection signal from the detection means; and a control means for determining a display condition of an input assistance image for assisting the finger movement being displayed on a display screen where the result of the input code determination is displayed, on the basis of the detection signal from the detection means.
