摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device with which the liquid crystal display device exhibiting excellent display quality can be obtained without causing a depolarization phenomenon attributed to the spacer particles or lowering of contrast and a color tone attributed light escaping. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device composed of pixel regions arrayed in accordance with a specified pattern and light shielding regions partitioning the pixel regions, the method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device which has a substrate with the spacer particles arranged on the light shielding region of a substrate with the pixels formed thereon or in the regions corresponding to the light shielding regions of a substrate without the pixel formed thereon by discharging a spacer particle dispersion liquid containing the spacer particles dispersed by using an inkjet device, and a substrate having no spacer particles arranged thereon opposite to each other via the spacer particles arranged on the light shielding regions or on the regions corresponding to the light shielding regions.
