PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative charging toner having a high charge amount and showing fast rising on charging and high environmental stability. SOLUTION: The toner includes a 2:1-type iron complex compound expressed by a general formula (1) as a charge controlling agent byαmass%.
