PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine allowing a play with tension, without complicating control. SOLUTION: A specified usual prize for finishing a special game in a mode not noticed by a game player is provided, as a jackpot mode, in addition to a usual prize and a variable probability prize. Further the probability of winning a prize of a winning mode at the time of the next and following lottery is set as usual probability, after the generation of the specified usual prize. The special game is finished while not noticed by the game player, by this manner, when the specified usual prize occurs during the variable probability, to be switched to an usual probability state hardly winning the prize in the winning mode, and the game player feels thereby as if a downfall lottery is executed to fall from a variable probability state to a usual probability state. Consequently, only the specified usual prize is sufficient to be added as a winning/losing mode, to obtain the same effect without executing the downfall lottery, and the play is allowed to be played with tension.
