PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet device capable of detecting an object to be washed securely, irrespective of shapes of spout and a water receiving part by applying radio waves radiated from a radio wave sensor into a water discharge space through a waveguide. SOLUTION: The waveguide and a water channel pipe are constituted inside the spout being a water discharge part, an outlet of the waveguide is arranged by dividing it into a plurality of sections along a water channel, and radio waves are radiated toward the inside of the water discharge space from a water discharge port. Consequently, an area where field intensity is high can be set in a wide scope around the water discharge port. As a result, it is possible to constitute the faucet device capable of detecting a user without fail and achieving satisfactory ease of use even when the objects to be washed approach the water discharge port from various directions and a position where the user holds out his/her hand as in case of water discharge in a large area ranges over a wide scope.
