PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine driven type refrigerating device maintaining a fuel consumption reducing effect of an engine, improving interior temperature distribution, and suppressing electric power consumption of a battery. SOLUTION: The refrigerating device is provided with: a refrigerating cycle 43 having an evaporator 37 for supplying air-conditioning air to the inside by an evaporator fan 39 and a compressor 11 for compressing and circulating coolant; a sub engine 23 for driving the compressor 11 and an alternator 31; the battery 49 for storing the electric power generated by the alternator 31 and supplying the electric power to the refrigerating cycle 43 and the sub engine 23; and a control part 45 having a constant temperature maintaining operation mode 47 for starting/stopping the compressor 11 so as to maintain the inside temperature within a predetermined range. The constant temperature maintaining operation mode 47 intermittently operates the evaporator fan 39 while the compressor 11 is stopping, and the operation time of the evaporator fan 39 in every period of time is gradually reduced.
