PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow keeping of a parcel without facing a visitor even when a person is at home and to improve security by making it difficult to determine the presence or absence of the person from the outside of a house. SOLUTION: A system for keeping parcels includes a housing information board and an apparatus for keeping parcels which has a storing part of the parcels, is installed near an entrance of the house and connected to the housing information board. The apparatus for keeping parcels includes: an outdoor communication part which transmits a calling signal to the housing information board when the visitor operates a keeping button and which receives a response signal generated by operation input made by the person at home on the housing information board or an absence signal indicating nobody at home; and a keeping determining part which allows deposit in the storing part when the response signal is received and which performs processing for determining allowability of keeping when receiving the absence signal and allows keeping in the storing part when it is determined to be allowable.
