PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a narrow gloove welding torch capable of ensuring the sufficient shieldability and enhancing the weldability, and a tandem arc welding apparatus having the welding torch. SOLUTION: In the narrow gloove welding torch 1 having a welding wire to be inserted therein, having a torch body 2 provided with a gas passage for passing shield gas on the side of the welding wire, and used for the narrow gloove welding, a pair of main gas passages 5, 6 are formed on the front and rear sides of the welding wire along the welding direction of the narrow gloove, a fore end face of the torch body behind the rear side main gas passage 6 is cut out, and retracted from a welding surface, a cooling unit 7 in which cooling water is circulated is provided inside the separate torch body 2.
