The engine has a housing provided with an elliptical or oval borehole (13), a rotor (2), multiple rotary valves, a drive shaft (11) and side panels. Slide valves (5) comprise two slide valve elements, and functional cells (6a-6d) are separated from each other. The side panels comprise guide channels (9a), and the slide valves are installed in slots of the rotor. Guiding elements (18) are connected with the slide valve elements, the guide channels and springs (19), where slot length of one of the slide valve elements is smaller than that of the other slide valve element.
