PURPOSE: A fluorescein-copper(ii) composite, a manufacturing method thereof, and a detection method of the cyanide ion using thereof are provided to secure the fluorescence quenching effect of the composition by being combined with a copper ion. CONSTITUTION: A fluorescein-copper(ii) composite marked with chemical formula 1, is included in an optical sensor for the cyanide ion detection. In the chemical formula 1, R1 is hydrogen, halogen, or C1~C4 alkyl. AR is an aryl group including fluorophore inside the structure to form a fused ring with a neighboring phenyl ring.
