PURPOSE: A handle for a locking apparatus is provided to allow for the installation on either right or left side of a window frame and achieve a simple structure by employing a coil spring as an elastic member. CONSTITUTION: A handle for a locking apparatus comprises a spindle(140), a moving plate, and an elastic member. The spindle comprises a sleeve extended from an end and an operating projection protruding from the other. The moving plate comprises a pair of receiving holes receiving the operating projection and an extra space and a grip which are formed adjacent to the receiving holes to switch the operating projection from one of the receiving holes to the other. The elastic member elastically presses the operating projection from the extra space to one of the receiving holes.
