摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-photon absorption material which can perform a two-photon absorption of light rays in a wavelength region shorter than 700 nm, can perform a two-photon absorption recording material which contains the two-photon absorption material and allows two-photon absorption recording thereon using recording light in this wavelength region and has sufficient recording and reproducing characteristics, and to provide a two-photon absorption recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The two-photon absorption material contains a compound expressed by general formula (I), and the two-photon absorption recording material and the two-photon absorption recording medium use this two-photon absorption material. In the general formula (I), Ar<SP>1</SP>represents an aromatic hydrocarbon ring, Het<SP>1</SP>and Het<SP>2</SP>each represent an aromatic heterocycle, R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>each represent a substituent having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, and n represents 0 or 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
