<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for transmitting an image used for inexpensively transmitting image data of a plurality of frame sizes without being delayed. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes: an image input unit 11 supplied with a moving image at a predetermined frame rate; a request reception unit 16 for receiving request information from a terminal 2; a determination unit 17 for determining, by a predetermined determination condition, whether the request information is received; a frame information memory unit 19 for storing frame information allocated on a frame number basis; a control unit 20 for supplying data showing the reception of the request information to the terminal to store the request information in the frame information when the request information is determined to be received, and supplying data showing the denial of the request information to the terminal when the request information is determined to be denied; and an image transmission unit 14 for transmitting, to the terminal, image data with predetermined image processing applied thereto based on the frame information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
