<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mesoporous electrolyte of an organic/inorganic hybrid type in which a threshold value for the amount of acid radicals which is introduced is dramatically great compared with the conventional. <P>SOLUTION: The mesoporous electrolyte includes a mesoporous body composed from silica with mesopores in an ordered array and a perfluoro sulfonic acid group that is expressed by formula (1) that modifies the inner surfaces of the mesopores. The formula (1) is -[C(H,F)<SB>2</SB>]<SB>n</SB>-X-(CF<SB>2</SB>)<SB>m</SB>-SO<SB>3</SB>H when X is O or a direct bond and n, m are respectively integers of 1 or more and 3 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
