BIAXIAL ORIENTATION POLYESTER FILM FOR SOLID POLYELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE REINFORCEMENT AND SOLID POLYELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE REINFORCING MEMBER COMPOSED OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxial orientation polyester film having an excellent hot water resistance in high temperature and high humidity environment of use in addition to excellent reinforcing strength as before, and an excellent gas sealing property while suppressing damage of the electrolyte membrane caused by fastening pressure of the fuel cell, and being suitable as a reinforcement material of a solid polyelectrolyte membrane of a solid polyelectrolyte fuel cell, and to provide a solid polyelectrolyte membrane reinforcing member composed of the biaxial orientation polyester film.

SOLUTION: The problem is solved by using the biaxial orientation polyester film for the solid polyelectrolyte membrane reinforcement made of at least one layer including a layer mainly composed of polytrimethylene naphthalene dicarboxylate.
