<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the display quality without increasing the cost of a display device that has a plurality of data drivers. <P>SOLUTION: The display device 1 has a photoelectric converter 12. This photoelectric converter 12 has two OLEDs and two light quantity measuring units. A switch Sw1 connects the data driver 16(1) and the photoelectric converter 12. The data driver 16(1) supplies a gradation current Idata to a photoelectric converter 12 to turn on one of the OLEDs. The light quantity measuring unit outputs the sensor output signal of a voltage corresponding to the quantity of light of the OLED turned on, and a sensor signal processing unit 17 supplies a sensor output signal OUT(1) to a controller 19.
