<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel sensor having a small inactive area, high detection accuracy and high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The touch panel sensor 30 includes a transparent base film 32, a first transparent conductor 40 prepared on one surface 32a of the base film, a second transparent conductor 45 prepared on the other surface 32b of the base film, and extraction conductors 43, 48 prepared on a part of at least one of the transparent conductors. The extraction conductor is made of a material having higher electrical conductivity than a material constituting at least one of the transparent conductors.
