CALIBRATION METHOD OF FIBER ORIENTATION STRENGTH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration method of fiber orientation strength of calibrating measured data by a fiber orientation measuring device in consideration that the error of the fiber orientation strength is different in each fiber orientation measuring device when the fiber orientation measuring devices simultaneously measures the fiber orientations of the front and back surfaces of paper. SOLUTION: The fiber orientation strengths of a plurality of standard samples 11a-11e having different fiber orientation strengths are measured by the fiber orientation measuring device to be calibrated. The fiber orientation strength measured by the fiber orientation measuring device is calibrated based on the relationship between the fiber orientation strengths of the standard samples 11a-11e and the measured fiber orientation strength.
