PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain display easier to see for a user, without impairing the convenience on the occasion of measuring temperature. SOLUTION: This women's clinical thermometer 100 for measuring basal body temperature includes a light-emitting part 252 which includes a plurality of LEDs, a shake detecting part 230 which detects that the women's clinical thermometer 100 is shaken and a display control part 244 which controls emission of each LED. The display control part 244 includes a means to form an emission dot pattern, based on a trend graph formed on the basis of the measured basal body temperature, and a means to calculate an emission time per dot line of the LED, based on the result of detection by the shake detecting part 230, and controls emission of each LED so that the light-emitting part 252 be made to emit the light, based on the formed emission dot pattern and the calculated emission time per dot line.
