PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leather insert molding which makes leather be set easily in a mold and prevents the problems of a gap and the exposure of an end face even in a design in which the leather is partially incorporated in the surface of an insert molding, and a method for producing the leather insert molding. SOLUTION: A primary molding resin part with a leather insert material laminated on an external surface, while being adhered to a core mold, is moved to a secondary molding mold. While a transfer sheet, in which a release layer, a shielding layer, and an adhesive layer are laminated in turn on a base sheet, is sucked to a secondary molding cavity, a mold is closed. By injecting a secondary molding resin in the secondary molding cavity, to be integrated with the primary molding resin part and the leather insert material and to expose the leather insert material excluding its peripheral part, a secondary mold resin part with the shielding layer formed on the external surface is molded.
