<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the installation performance of a unitized injector. <P>SOLUTION: In this injector mounting structure, a start position of a fitting part 16b in an insertion hole 16 and a start position of a fitting part 17b in an insertion hole 17 are set in a positional relation that compression deformation of a seal ring 21 by the fitting part 17b starts when insertion load of the injector 8 in the insertion hole 16 completely drops by pushing an injector unit 30 further into a cylinder head 3 side from a state where compression deformation of the seal ring 21 at the fitting part 16b become the maximum and insertion load of the injector 8 in the insertion hole 16 becomes the maximum. Consequently, timing at which peaks of insertion force of the injector 8 in each insertion hole 16, 17 are generated are made different, and the insertion load for installing the injector unit 30 onto the cylinder head 3 is reduced.
