<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which prevents degradation of an energy storage such as a high voltage battery. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes a fuel cell stack 10 which generates electric power when reactive gas is supplied, a high voltage battery 74 which stores the electric power of the fuel cell stack 10, a voltage sensor 76 and current sensor 77 for detecting a storage index value about SOC of the high voltage battery 74, a power consuming means for consuming the electric power of the high voltage battery 74, and an ECU100 which controls power consumption by the power consuming means based on a current SOC. After stopping power generation with the fuel cell stack 10, the ECU100 causes the power consuming means to consume electric power of the high voltage battery 74 until SOC comes to a target SOC which is lower than first SOC if the SOC when higher than the first SOC. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
