<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent freezing so that rainwater flowing in a groove does not flow down in a hinge part from the front end, in a belt molding having the groove between an inner wall part and an upper lip. <P>SOLUTION: This belt molding is installed so as to sandwich an upper edge part 61 of an outer panel 60 in a clearance between an outer wall part 11 and the inner wall part 15, and is formed by elastically contacting the upper lip 16 and a lower lip 17 on the outer surface side of the inner wall part 15 with window glass, and is formed by setting a root part of the upper lip 16 in a lower position than the upper edge of the outer wall part 11, and has the groove 160 between the inner wall part 15 and itself.
