VEHICLE BRAKING SYSTEM AND MASTER CYLINDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle braking system and a master cylinder, obtaining excellent pedal feeling.

SOLUTION: A valve-opening pressure for the pressure-reducing valve of the master cylinder is set higher than a hydraulic pressure which is obtained with a pressing force on a brake pedal being 500N and lower than a hydraulic pressure obtained at a time when a booster reaches a full-load point for a failure of the booster to be specialized for improving the pedal feel. The required performance for a failure of the booster is realized by a pressure-intensifying unit.
