<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique by which freedom of setting is enhanced when setting conditions of a laser beam emitted from a fiber laser beam source and by which conditions of the laser beam can be switched at high speed. <P>SOLUTION: A condition setting unit 121 preliminarily sets a plurality of conditions about the laser beam emitted from the fiber laser 110 (laser beam source 101), and the conditions are stored in a laser control system 102. A measuring unit 130 detects workpiece characteristics changing by irradiation of a workpiece with the laser beam. A controller 122, on the basis of the detection result of the measuring unit 130, selects from the plurality of laser beam conditions the condition of the laser beam to be emitted from the fiber laser 110 and also transmits a trigger signal trig. The laser control system 102, in accordance with the trigger signal trig, controls the laser beam source 101 so that the laser beam following the selected condition is emitted from the laser beam source 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
