PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide an antenna apparatus having a guaranteed polarized wave ratio, despite the presence of an adjacent conductor that provides a high gain. SOLUTION: This antenna apparatus 1 includes a minute loop antenna 10, and a substrate ground 20. The minute loop antenna 10 includes two polarized wave surfaces, such as, a horizontal polarized wave surface and a vertical polarized wave surface, and the polarized wave ratio thereof is a predetermined value (for instance, 0 dB). The substrate ground 20 is excited, along with the minute antenna 10 and functions as an equivalent dipole antenna 21. The equivalent dipole antenna 21 also includes two polarized wave surfaces which are identical to those of the minute loop antenna 10 by a horizontal current component 23 and a vertical current component 22.
