PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress damage to a tail pipe in a rear-end collision of a vehicle, and to sufficiently ensure a storage space of a baggage in a rear part of the vehicle, while maintaining the reducing function of exhaust noise with a muffler. SOLUTION: In an exhaust system arrangement structure of a vehicle, a muffler 7 for reducing the exhaust noise of an engine and a tail pipe 8 connected to the muffler 7 are arranged behind a suspension 6 for rear wheels arranged below a rear floor panel 4 forming a floor of a baggage compartment in a rear part of a vehicle body. A recessed part 26 recessed on the lower side is juxtaposed on the rear floor panel 4 together with the muffler 7, and the tail pipe 8 is installed extending to a rear side of the vehicle below the recessed part 26.
