PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate which is produced with a large area and at low cost by a simpler manufacturing process such as a roll-to-roll method and which includes a polymer film having a microphase separation structure including no defect, grain structure or the like, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the laminate. SOLUTION: The laminate 10a includes, on one surface, a substrate 12 having a plurality of linear recesses arrayed in parallel to each other with the surface as a reference and a polymer film 14a having a microphase separation structure including a cylinder-shaped or a lamella-shaped microdomain formed on the substrate, wherein, in the cross sectional shape of the linear recess, the recess has a projected inclined part or curved part in he depth direction, the angle (θ) formed by the inner face of the recess and the substrate surface of the reference surface is less than 90°, and the cylinder-shaped or the lamella-shaped micro domain is oriented in the thickness direction of the substrate.
