PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane cartridge for use in a membrane separation apparatus of an immersing type wherein a plurality of membrane cartridges disposed parallel and adjacent to each other are firmly fastened to suppress the vibration received thereby caused by the ascending force or the like of a cleaning gas for cleaning the membrane face. SOLUTION: The membrane separation apparatus of an immersing type is constituted of a plurality of membrane cartridges A disposed parallel and adjacent to each other to form a plurality of flow paths therebetween. The membrane cartridges A each have a pair of ear parts 3 thicker than the membrane cartridge body 1, formed on either side thereof. A header-forming part 4 is formed on one of the pair of ear parts 3 and a guide hole 5 is formed on the other of the pair of ear parts 3 in a manner opposing each other so that the header-forming part 4 and the guide hole 5 of each of the plurality of membrane cartridges A disposed adjacent to each other in a manner alternately changing the direction thereof, can mutually be connected to communicate with each other.
