<p>Provided is a method for designing a heat-controlling film, in particular, a multilayer film, advantageously usable in the cosmic space. This design method comprises: (a) a step for setting up at least two candidate materials for forming a multilayer film and the layer number of the multilayer film; and (b) a step for designing a combination of the candidate materials and layer thicknesses using genetic algorithm, comprising: (b-1) a step for setting up at least the number of individuals (n), a selection method, a crossover method and a crossover rate, and a mutation rate; (b-2) an initialization step for forming the preset number of individuals in the first generation having the preset layer number; and (b-3) a loop step for repeating the following substeps (i) to (iii) until the generation number attains the preset generation number, or until individuals meeting the preset evaluation standard can be obtained; (i) an evaluation step for evaluating the thus formed n individuals in accordance with evaluation functions; (ii) a selection step for selecting, from among the n individuals, individuals to be used as the subjects in the subsequent step based on said evaluation; and (iii) a next generation-forming step for forming n individuals in the next generation, from the thus selected individuals, based on the preset crossover method and preset crossover rate and the preset mutation rate; wherein said evaluation functions are: (evaluation function 1) as=1-Rs (wherein Rs represents the sunlight energy reflectivity within the wavelength range of the subject to be designed within the sunlight radiation wavelength range); and (evaluation function 2) eH (wherein eH equal (1-RIR) and RIR represents the heat-radiation energy reflectivity within the wavelength range of the subject to be designed within the heat-radiation wavelength range).</p> |
