<p>The invention relates to the use of an organic dye selected from a group containing crystal violet, gentian violet, malachite green oxalate and rhodamine 6G as an analgesic agent in the form of a solution with the agent dosage ranging from 0.000001 mg to 10 g per administration. Preferably, the agent is administered at least twice a day. In particular cases of use the agent is perorally administered in the form of an aqueous solution before or after meals, or is rectally administered in the form of an aqueous solution, or a 1% solution of the agent is intravenously injected, or the agent is used in the form of a 1-5% ointment, or the agent is rectally administered in the form of suppositories, or, for managing cancer pain, the agent is injected into a tumor (under a tumor) or into a metastasis. The invention makes use of widely available, inexpensive, non-toxic, non-allergic and non-addictive substances, administered in pharmaceutically acceptable doses, and makes it possible to reduce treatment time, enhance treatment efficiency, provide pain relief without affecting the patient's functional capacity, use a minimum of analgesic agents of different activity and completely exclude the need for opiates.</p> |
