<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric regeneration-type pure water making apparatus, which is constituted of a plurality of sets of desalting chambers and concentration chambers, and characterized in that an anion exchange resin and a cation exchange resin are housed in the desalting chambers, requiring no highly skilled technique, capable of being easily assembled and not having the damage fear of the original characteristics of the ion exchange resins. <P>SOLUTION: The ion exchange resins housed in the desalting chambers 81 and 82 include a sheetlike ion exchange molded article obtained by molding a mixture, which is obtained by drying swollen ion exchange resins until the whole weight of them is reduced by 1-10 wt.% and mixing the dried ion exchange resins with an aqueous water-soluble polymer solution with a concentration of 5-15 wt.% so that the use ratio of the water soluble polymer to the swollen ion exchange resins becomes 0.5-5 wt.%, into a sheetlike shape under pressure and drying the molded mixture at 30-60°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
