<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management system of a drive device capable of regulating a phase difference between a rotating machine and a rotating sensor in a simple manner and at low cost, and to provide the method of manufacturing the drive device. <P>SOLUTION: The data management system 1 of the drive device 2 has the rotating machine 10 and the rotating sensor 20 for detecting the rotating position of a rotor in the rotating machine 10. In a detecting process, the rotating machine 10 is mechanically driven to measure a counter-electromotive force after the rotating machine 10 and the rotating sensor 20 are installed. In order to perform the detecting process, a storage medium 4 is mounted to store the positional error data of the rotating sensor 20 detected on the basis of the data of the counter-electromotive force and the output data from the rotating sensor 20.
