<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protonic conductive film for a solid polymer fuel cell with high hydrogen peroxide and radical resistance, high initial output voltage, and capable of obtaining high output voltage over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The polymer electrolyte membrane contains (A) a polyarylene system copolymer with a sulfonic acid group, and (B) manganese-content oxide with a specific surface area of 55 m<SP>2</SP>/g or less measured in the BET method. The (B) manganese-content oxide is at least one of the complex oxides containing manganese oxide or at least one element out of Mn, Ni, Bi, and Ce, and further, (B) the manganese-content oxide is at least either the complex oxide containing MnO<SB>2</SB>, Mn<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, Mn, and Bi or that containing Mn and Ni. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
