<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid drive apparatus which has a plurality of switchable modes, and suppresses the generation of a gearshift shock when the modes are switched. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid drive apparatus H includes: an input member I drive-connected with the engine E; an output member O drive-connected with a wheel; a first rotating electric machine MG1; a second rotating electric machine MG2; a power distribution device P1 for distributing the drive force of the input member I to the first rotating electric machine MG1 and an output rotary element Eo drive-connected with the output member O. A first transmission P2 which shifts gears of the rotation of the output rotary element Eo with one of a plurality of changeable change gear ratios so as to transmit the rotation to the output member O, and a second transmission P3 which shifts gears of rotation of the second rotating electric machine MG2 with one of the changeable change gear ratios so as to transmit the rotation to the output member O are provided so as to be performed independently. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
