<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device capable of being applied to a windshield, i.e., various kinds of objects to be wiped having different curved surfaces from each other. <P>SOLUTION: The wiper device for the windshield includes a vertically long carrier element having elasticity and a vertically long wiper blade made of a flexible material, and the wiper blade includes a wiping element 17 capable of being arranged in adjacent to the windshield, i.e., the object to be wiped. The wiper blade includes a central vertical groove 3, and a vertical piece member 4 of the carrier element is arranged in the groove 3. The wiper device includes a connector for a rocking arm and the rocking arm is pivotally connected to the connector through a pivot shaft near its one end. The wiping element 17 can be moved in a direction approximately perpendicular to at least the windshield, i.e., the object to be wiped by a pressure applied by the vertical piece member 4 of the wiper blade. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
